Sullivan+Strumpf returns to S.E.A. Focus to present two bodies of work by multidisciplinary Singaporean artist Dawn Ng.
MONUMENT MOMENTO (2020) is the sister series to Ng's PERFECT STRANGER (2018) and features words engraved on stone, drawn from the artist's daily Q&A project with a stranger; an Israeli Psychologist living in Singapore in 2016 and forming a time-capsule of passing moments. INTO AIR (ASH) (2017) – ongoing, is a series of residue paintings exploring the process of sieving time. INTO AIR (ASH) is the final of a three-part series exploring metamorphosis of form, state, shape and colour over time.
