The 2022 Melbourne Art Fair: Djeembana–Place launches at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre at a crucial moment of re-emergence for the Australian arts sector. Sullivan+Strumpf will once again be there, proudly presenting new and iconic works by Yvette Coppersmith, Jemima Wyman, Polly Borland and Sanné Mestrom.
Grant Stevens' procedurally generated endless video, The Forest, will also be showing at the Melbourne Art Fair as part of VIDEO, a selection of contemporary moving image works curated by Nina Miall and presented by SUBTYPE.
In addition, there will be a virtual conversation between Nina and Grant tonight at 6pm and Grant will be one of the artists featured in MAF Official Partner RATIONALE's series of curated video portraits.
On Friday, don't miss artist talks by Yvette Coppersmith and Sanné Mestrom at our booth and on Saturday 2.30-3.30pm, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran will be joining the conversation Local-Global; Redefining the Terms with Alexie Glass-Kantor, Nina Miall, Cosmin Costinas and Aaron Seeto.
Tickets are on sale now. If you can't make it to the Fair, you can still see all the works featured in our booth by visiting our online viewing room.
